At SchoolBusCircle, we respect your privacy and provide you with the ability to delete your personal data from our platform.
To delete your account and associated data:
- Log in to your SchoolBusCircle account
- Navigate to your Profile page
- Click the "Delete Account" button at the bottom of the page
- Confirm your decision in the popup dialog
- Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted
What data will be deleted:
- Your profile information (name, email, profile picture)
- All posts you've created
- Your login history and session data
- Any other personal information associated with your account
What happens to your comments:
Your comments will remain visible on the platform but will be attributed to "Deleted User" instead of your name. This approach:
- Preserves the context and continuity of community discussions
- Helps other users who may benefit from the conversation
- Follows industry standards used by Reddit, Stack Overflow, and Facebook
If you want to remove specific comments: You can delete individual comments from your profile page before deleting your account. Deleted comments will be permanently removed.
Important notes:
- Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- Some information may be retained for legal or security purposes
- Deletion may take up to 30 days to complete
