Donna School Bus Driver Saves Trucker During Medical Emergency

A Donna Independent School District bus driver in Texas, Ausencio Sustaita, is being praised as a hero after helping save the life of a truck driver during his morning route.

While driving early in the morning, Sustaita noticed a semi-truck stopped at an intersection and saw that the driver inside was unresponsive. Acting quickly, he turned on his bus’s flashing lights, checked on the man, and — with help from the driver’s daughter — kept him awake and safely helped him out of the truck until emergency crews arrived.
